The Art of Lithography

Lithography is a method of printing using a stone or a metal plate with a completely smooth surface. This method was invented in 1796by a German author named Alosis Senefelder as a cheap method of publishing theatrical works. Lithography was the first printmaking technology that allowed a traditional artist to work using traditional techniques, and to create prints that could rival an original painting in terms of detail, mood and color variations. Stone lithography was popular for about a century during the 1800s, and is still practiced today by artist. Lithographic printing on a modern offset press can produce high-quality, finely detailed impressions at high speed. It can reproduce any material that can be photographed in the plate making process. As a result, it accounts for more than 40 percent of all printing, packaging, and publishing carried out; that percentage is more than twice the percentage produced by any other single printing process.

Office Linebacker

The fictional CEO of Felcher & Sons talks about how out of the box thinking lead them to bring in an office linebacker. Terry Tate: Office Linebacker was a series of short comedy television commercials created by Rawson Marshall Thurber, for Reebok, based on a short film pilot he created in 2000. As he describes how Terry has been able to boost productivity while fitting right in with the company, scenes of Terry in action are shown. You see Terry running around the office bringing the pain train to anyone not following the rules of the office. The advertising campaign was one of the most successful of those in the history of the Super Bowl halftime shows. This commercial catchphrases is what drives viewers to laugh or relate to themselves or others they know. The catchphrases include “The pain train’s comin'”, “You kill the joe, you make some mo'”, “You can’t cut the cheese wherever you please!”, “Cu’z when its game time, it’s pain time!”, “Don’t bring that weak ass stuff up in this humpy-bumpy” and “Woo-woo!” I watch this commercial from time to time when im bored or want to show people funny commercials and im glad this commercial delivers.
